Description of investment project
|
|
Foundation of a commercial organization with foreign investments for production of chopped strand mat.
Implementation of the project of foundation of JV Ltd. Will allow to attract foreign investments for creation of high technological, high effective production of chopped strand mat.
Location of JV Ltd. will be on production areas of JSC «Polotsk-Steklovolokno», where there are necessary industrial communications, supply of missing communications is possible.
It is planned to use roving manufactured at JSC «Polotsk-Steklovolokno».
The volume of the products manufactured as the result of project implementation, namely, CSM) will be sold at the markets of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The capacity of the equipment is about 7 000 thousand glass mat per year. Achievement of maximum capacity is scheduled in 2013. During the first year of project implementation it is planned to produce and sell 4 000 tons of CSM.

Project:
“Set up of manufacturing of glass-plastic tubes”
The aim of the project: set up of manufacturing competitive, profitable products which has high export potential and demand on the local market.
The projects includes:
1. Purchase of technology and full line for production of glass-plastic tubes using continuous extrusion method with production rate 40 m per hour, complex equipment for production of auxiliary products: fittings, joints, offsets made of glass reinforced plastics.
2. Set up of manufacturing of glass-plastic tubes with the following characteristics:
- Tube diameter – 250 – 2400 mm.;
- Tube length – up to 14 meters
Application area for glass-plastic tubes:
- Drinking water
- Technical water
- Sewerage systems
- Irrigation
- Conditioning of air and air-aggressive medium
Attractiveness of the project:
- Absence of similar enterprises in Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, and west of Russian Federation.
- The use in manufacturing of glass-plastic tubes of fiberglass materials made by JSC”Polotsk-Steklovolokno”
Estimated cost of the project: 7-10 mln. Euro
